Closing the Deal
A few small steps and you'll secure the tenant for your property:
- Call the selected applicant
- Arrange a time to meet to sign a lease
- Get the first month's rent (non-refundable)
- Tell them about security deposit and arrange a walk-through time and to give them keys
- First month's rent is non-refundable if they change their mind (so you're not out a month's rent if they flake)
- Once signed call other applicants
- “Sorry we have selected another family”
- “Sorry we have decided to go with a different family”
